We are an award-winning RIBA Chartered Architects Practice based within the grounds of the historic Capesthorne Hall, near Alderley Edge, Cheshire and The Cotswolds.

We specialise in the creation of award-winning luxury residential and commercial properties for the most discerning clientele, across the UK and overseas.

As part of the wider Llama Group, we are able to manage all aspects of your project; working alongside our prestigious Interior Design Studio, Janey Butler Interiors, to provide a full turn-key service.

We believe in attention to detail in all that we do, seeking to understand the way you live, to design a home that is truly yours.

Our Approach

Our talented team of Architects, Interior Designers, Surveyors, Engineers, Construction Experts and Consultants all work together under one roof; allowing our clients a true single-point for their project, from conception to completion.

Working alongside our prestigious Design Studio, Janey Butler Interiors; we pride ourselves in the seamless delivery of truly exceptional projects, finished to immaculate standards with the very finest attention to detail.

Our service can be tailored to your exact requirements; from restoration of historical buildings (Grade I & II) to the creation of bespoke, new-build properties featuring the very latest innovative Smart Home Technology.

The Team

Led by founder Andy Butler, our RIBA Architects work alongside a large team of Designers, Consultants, Engineers, RICS Surveyors, Project Managers and Trades men and women to deliver award-winning luxury residential and commercial projects.

Andy Butler

Group Founder

Andy is the Founder and creator of the ethos behind all the companies within the Llama Group. Since leaving the military over 20 yrs ago, Andy has been one of the most forward thinking and design-led Property Developers in the country and as such brings this wealth of experience and advice to all our Private Clients.

Adam John

Group Design Director

Adam is an experienced RIBA Architect, and our Group Design Director, working closely with our Architects and Interior Designers to create innovative and award winning projects.

Having worked for many years in London on High End Residential Projects, he now oversees the complete design output from the Llama Group.

Andy Korn

Associate Architect

Andy is our Associate Architect at Llama Architects. Andy studied at the University of Sheffield and the Bartlett, and has a wide range of experience across residential and commercial sectors. He has worked with some of the biggest developers operating in London and the UK; his work includes the unique award-winning House Little Venice, and the first block for the Athletes' Village for London 2012.
